The seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson (1902–1994), was perhaps the most famous Jewish leader of the last century. For forty years, he headed the Lubavitcher Hasidic movement, which brought about a renaissance of Jewish spirituality in a world scarred by the Holocaust. He was a mentor to thousands upon thousands of Jews. Many of his disciples still bear the mark of the Rebbe's unique personality.

What was the meaning of his spiritual teaching?

This book seeks to answer that question. Its author, Arie Salomon, spent many years studying the Rebbe's teaching methods and wrote his dissertation on the subject at La Trobe University in Melbourne. Arie Salomon's work is the first attempt at a systematic analysis of the Rebbe's pedagogical views.
