Marcus (Meyer) Lehmann (1839–1890) was a recognized leader of orthodox Judaism in Germany. This highly learned rabbi wrote commentaries on the Jerusalem Talmud, monumental studies of the Passover Haggadah, and the tractate “Teaching of the Fathers.”
