The Book of Psalms was written by King David of Israel and is one of the 24 books of the Tanach. This edition includes a Russian translation and commentary by RaDak (Rabbi David Kimchi, 1160–1235).
Throughout the history of the Jewish people—marked by both persecution and prosperity—the words of Tehilim have accompanied and sustained them. There is no line in this book that has not been touched by the tears of generations; the Psalms have helped our people in every circumstance.
